Generation Rx and Global Health are teaming up with Health Choice Network to offer awesome underserved opportunities. Health Choice Network does a fantastic job in their community of trying to prevent the spread of HIV and Hepatitis as well as providing the appropriate management for patients currently diagnosed with HIV. During this event, we will be providing individuals in the community with clean needles, wound care, condoms, Narcan, and Fentanyl test strips. By participating in this event, we will have the opportunity to aid in the prevention of HIV within this community and counsel on what exactly HIV is, who is at risk, and the safety measures that can be taken to prevent acquiring HIV. Other than disease prevention, this event helps promote trust between a health care professional and someone in the community who uses opioids and other substances.
